Risborough is a market town in Buckinghamshire which can trace its history
back to at least the Domesday Book - in fact Earl (later King) Harold was an
early Lord of the Manor. The town gained its royal name in the 14th
century, the “Princes” refering to the Black Prince who had land and a small
palace near the town.
